Program Infrastructure

Chair, Division of Distance Learning and Faculty Development

• Coordinates program in conjunction with the department chairs and course managers
• Maintains contact with program paricipants
• Certifies completion (or maintenance) of Program Levels

Human Resources Department

• Maintains paperwork related to pay increases and honorariums

Faculty Development Committee and the Innovative Teaching Center

• Design and develop workshops
• Appoints Adjunct Faculty Certification subcommittee to administer certification program
• Provides direction and guidance for participants
• Evaluates program
• Makes final selection of candidates

Division Chairs

• Provides input to Chair, Distance Learning and Faculty Development
• Recommend candidates
• Monitor the progress of the candidates
• Evaluate the progress of the candidates (using components of the Faculty Classroom Performance Evaluation described in the Faculty Handbook)
• Recommend certification
